Independence Day Holiday
On Wednesday, July 4, 2001, your local Airborne Express office will be closed. Please note the adjusted holiday schedule.
On Tuesday, July 3, 2001, preceding Independence Day, there will be normal pickup and delivery service.
EXPRESS SERVICE
Express packages picked up, Tuesday, July 3, will be delivered Thursday, July 5. Delivery by noon in primary delivery areas.
NEXT AFTERNOON SERVICE (NAS)
Next Afternoon packages weighing five pounds or less picked up, Tuesday, July 3, will be delivered Thursday, July 5. Delivery by 3:00 p.m. in primary delivery areas.
SECOND DAY SERVICE (SDS)
Second Day packages picked up Tuesday, July 3, will be delivered Friday, July 6. Delivery by 5:00 p.m. in primary delivery areas.
INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS SERVICE
Pickups made in the U.S. on Tuesday, July 3, will receive normal service.

Shipments arriving in the U.S. and clearing Customs on Tuesday, July 3, will be delivered Thursday, July 5. Shipments arriving in the U.S. and clearing Customs after Tuesday, July 3, will be delivered Friday, July 6.
DROP BOX SERVICE
There will be no Drop Box service on Wednesday, July 4.

Although your local Airborne Express office will be closed on Independence Day, you may contact Airborne Express Customer Service 24-hours a day by simply dialing 1-800-AIRBORNE (1-800-247-2676). If you’re shipping perishables over the holiday, please contact your local Airborne Express office to schedule these shipments.
