Effective February 7, 2000, Airborne Express will be implementing a fuel surcharge for International Air Freight shipments moving between the United States and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In addition, effective February 14, 2000, a fuel surcharge will be implemented for International Air Freight shipments moving between the United States and Asia, including the South Pacific. The amount of the surcharge is 10 cents per kilogram.
