SEATTLE - July 15, 1996 - Airborne Express, the carrier of choice for American business, today announced yet another service option for its customers around the world - Internet-based shipment tracking.

Any company or individual sending a package by Airborne Express may now get an up-to-the-minute report on its status - 24-hours-a-day - simply by accessing Airborne's homepage on the World Wide Web: https://airborne-express.com.

With Airborne's tracking option on the homepage menu, customers need only insert an airbill number to receive a wealth of information on their shipment, including:

"Of course, this isn't the only way our customers can keep track of their shipments," said Airborne Director of Systems Development Rod Parker. "But it's just one more handy alternative from a company that is absolutely focused on flexibility, options and custom solutions, especially for our business customers, large and small."

In addition to the new Internet-based tracking capability, Airborne offers LIGHTSHIP Tracker, the first on-line shipment tracking software that allows customers to not only track multiple shipments world-wide, but to store a permanent, comprehensive record of all shipments for later analysis.

Airborne's homepage on the Internet, which is undergoing constant enhancement, also offers cost-saving shipping tips, instructions, new product and service information and a customer feedback section for comments.
